Our garden...

Seen as we were going away for a couple of weeks, we tried to make sure that someone was going to give our vegies some water at least every couple of days so that they didn't die too badly. Well, Glen and Julie obviously did a really good job, because when we got back, it looked like the garden had exploded! There's green stuff everywhere! So for the past week we've had plenty of salads (rocket, lettuce, spinach, basil and coriander), some zucchini (yellow ones) and some sugar snap-peas. We had to throw out the pak-choy because the snails took a liking to it during our weekend camping trip. And sometime soon we'll be enjoying a very big healthy bunch of spring onions! Compare this to what it looked like just five weeks ago...

Awesome work! (We should get Glen & Julie to work on our garden :D).
When's a good time of year for tomatoes? That could add some pretty red to your garden.
And if you're in Brisbane, careful about eating the lettuce straight from the garden (esp if snails are on it). Bad stuff can happen.

We do have a tomato plant as well. Or we did. It didn't get watered, so it's a little sad at the moment...
