Big Kev...no longer Big for me

Just found out that I'm not entitled to the latest hand-out (due to start in April) because I didn't have to pay any tax last financial year. Oh well, at least Peter will get it. Although it seems like another case of single income families being disadvantaged.

Actually Mel I think single income earners get another amount as well.

Thanks for the link Melissa. Unfortunately while we are outside Australia we don't qualify for FTB part B, only part A. So we got the payout late last year for families, but will not qualify for the latest single-income family one (even though we are a single income family). Oh well, what we are getting is much better than what NZ tax payers are getting (which is nothing).
